Partners in learning – good practice

This report complements another report entitled Partners in Learning: schools’ engagement with parents, whānau and communities.

It highlights eight case studies in which there was an effective partnership between schools and parents/communities. Six key factors contributing to successful engagement are explored: committed leadership, supportive relationships, an inclusive school culture, effective partnerships, community networks, and timely communication.
